Issue/Introduction

When using the 'Initiate Log Rotation' from the Administration perspective. Multiple agents create empty log files and not the expected initial .ini data.

Environment

Release:
Component: AAUTEN

Cause

This was caused by an improper initiation of log switch via the AWI

Resolution

To workaround this issue, allow the logs to rotate normally instead of forcing the rotation via the AWI.

The issue was found and fixed with:

Automation.Engine 12.1.5 in Agent JMX, Agent PeopleSoft, Agent RA Core, Agent SAP, Agent SQL - Available
Automation.Engine 12.2.3 in Agent JMX, Agent PeopleSoft, Agent RA Core, Agent SAP, Agent SQL - Available

Hotfix-Description: Initiate Log Rotation creates an empty log file

A problem has been fixed where the log file of the Java-based Agents was empty right after manually changing log (Initiate Log Rotation).
