Issue/Introduction

In the DB2-tasks job (ssid0003 job) during the upgrade from V15.0 to V19.0 in the specific CA-DB2 products.

When the ssid0003 job (Copy Plan Authorizations task) in the CA-DB2 tasks jobs was run, the following warning message appeared.
+ QI171W: PLAN NOT FOUND FOR PLAN NAME = xxxxxxx

Several similar message appeared in the joblog. And the return code was "CODE=0004". Are there any required procedures or not? Can the warning messages be ignored?

In this time, the Detector and Plan Analyzer were upgrading.

Environment

MF, z/OS 1.10, DB2 V10 NFM, CA-DB2 V19.0

Resolution

In this case, the QI171W messages can be ignored because the shown PLANs in the QI171W messages are not for the Detector and Plan Analyzer and those PLANs are not bound in the ssid0002 job.

From the following message in the ssid0002 bind job, it can be seen that the site performed products specific binds which are appropriate and likely only for Detector and Plan Analyzer.
Only selected products will be processed

The QI1717W warning messages are for those plans not bound in the ssid0002 and can be ignored.

Please check with the site that the products are working well and let us know if you have any questions.
