SymDump for CICS SymDump Batch

Issue/Introduction

There are two LMP codes for CA SymDump Batch - PO and RX - for which one should we request a license?
And what is the difference between CA SymDump Batch MIPS and CA SymDump Batch MSU?

Environment

Release:
Component: SYMBAT

Resolution

Here you can find all LMP codes and its descriptions:
https://support.ca.com/us/product-content/recommended-reading/technical-document-index/ca-licensing---lmp-listing.html
...
For CA SymDump/Batch you will find at first:
...
CA SYMDUMP BATCH     PO   SYMDBA00200   SYMBAT002   MMXAPL002
SYMDUMP BATCH MIPS   PO   SYMBTM00200   SYMBTM002
SYMDUMP BATCH MSU    PO   SYMBTU00200   SYMBTU002

...
There is no difference in the function or way to install these three products. The difference is in how the contract is layed out.
All three products need the PO LMP key.

You will also find
...
CA SYMDUMP BATCH     RX   SYMDBA00200   SYMBAT002   MMXAPL002
...
This is because CA SymDump Batch shares a component with CA Optimizer/II.
The LMP Product Key Certificate for CA Optimizer/II Runtime - 'RX' - is required and should also be included.
That means you need both LMP codes, PO and RX, for CA SymDump/Batch.
