Issue/Introduction

I'm investigating some audit findings and SVC28 (0A1C) is being questioned. When I look in storage the only thing I am finding following the address for SVC28 is related to module CAIFLOID. Can you tell me if CAS9/CAIRIM has any internal workings with SVC28 and if so what?

• Common Services 14.1, 15.0

Resolution

I did confirm with Level 2 that:

• CAIRIM dynamically installs SVC28 for CAIFLOID (LMP).
• CA Common Services uses SVC28 to do some dynamic updating regarding the use of the LMP keys for license services.
