Issue/Introduction

On a busy server, when using the TCP class it works, but after several minutes the server essentially hangs, becomes inaccessible and needs to be rebooted.

Resolution

Using the TCP class will result in all tcp packets being analysed, which can slow down the system.

I suggested that your use case may be better served by using the HOST (for incoming) and CONNECT (for outgoing) classes instead. This solved the performance issue.
