Issue/Introduction

The Compliance Event Manager CEMMDCCU utility encountered problems with the DB where the count queries were showing
multiple rows per table, but many of the same tables showed 'No rows found' when the first 20 rows were requested.

Environment

CEM 6.0

Cause

From the CEMEIVP output, it appeared that the MUF may have abended in the middle of processing  causing the count queries
to show multiple rows per table when many of the same tables showed 'No rows found' when the first 20 rows were requested.
-
The Cleanup utility will not delete any rows from any of the tables if there are no rows in the HDRDELTA table.
The HDRDELTA table is the only table with a timestamp for the records, and the utility deletes records based on the age of the records.
If no HDRDELTA records are found, no records from the other tables will be deleted because the age of the record cannot be determined.

Resolution

Because of problems experienced by the MUF it was necessary to rebuild it, and then to run the CEM0102X
job to rebuild the indexes prior to the subsequent execution of the CEMMDCCU utility.
