Issue/Introduction

Performing an upgrade from Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) r17 to r20 and the Post Install
process for IDB2 encounters the failure when copying the r17 Profile dataset to the new r20 version:

WRNG.LEN.RECORD IDC3003I FUNCTION TERMINATED. CONDITION CODE IS 12

Cause

The IDB2 r17 REQUESTS PDS library was incorrectly specified as the input file, and it should have been the IDB2 r17 VSAM PROFILE dataset.

Resolution

Trying to REPRO a PDS to a VSAM file is not supported.  The IDB2 r17 input file for this process must also be a VSAM file.
