Issue/Introduction

we are unable to open http://xxxxxxx0000:8080/CAOMWebViewer12/. Cannot locate the internet server or proxy server.

Cause

The WAS (Tomcat or WebSphere) running 12.1 Web Viewer must be up and running for Web Viewer to be accessible.

Resolution

a restart of the ‘Tomcat service’, initiated by the Web Services team re-established functionality.
