Veracode Plugin Error

Issue/Introduction

The Veracode plugin is failing the test authentication with the following error:

Failed to ping or connect the server due to Veracode Connection: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty. It was working previously. Unsure when it stopped. Could have been after an upgrade. Verified API credentials and rechecked -- same error.

Environment

Continuous Delivery Director: SaaS

Cause

We observed that Veracode subscription used by customer had ended and we suspect it may be the possible reason why the endpoint is not able to authenticate successfully.

Resolution

Please correct the Veracode subscription in used and recheck the plugin authentication.
