Process instance does not complete after retry and successful completion of synchronous subprocess

Issue/Introduction

We have a process and it's executed via a scheduled job, and contains an action that executes a synchronous subprocess.  There was an error in the subprocess.  The issue was remediated, and the failed action in the subprocess was subsequently retried.  The subprocess then completed successfully; however, the parent process never completed, and remained in a running state, and the scheduled job has not executed since.

Resolution

1. Either select all errored out steps and retry at once Or 
2. Go to parent process and retry child process from there
