CA View - Create New Tapes at Target Site

Issue/Introduction

In performing a data center move, the client wants to have all CA View SARSTC tasks move their next sets of reports to new tapes.
How should the SARSTC tasks be started at the target site?

Resolution

For the CA View SARSTC tasks to run a backup to new tapes, once at the target site, use: 

 . S sarstc,OPT=NEW -- View will run a standard backup at startup, and will ask for a new tape. 
 . S sarstc,OPT=INEW -- View will run an interim backup at startup, and will ask for a new tape. 

With the above, the tape changes will be honored, with no intervention required.
