How to view CA7 jobs within iDash with EEM security enabled.

Issue/Introduction

An administrator can setup EEM authentication within iDash but then they are unable to see CA7 jobs within the GUI to create SLA or reports on.

 

How can I see CA7 jobs within iDash with EEM security enabled?

Environment

iDash 12.0.x

Resolution

The as-job policy within the WorkloadAutomationAE application must be modified to include a resource that lists the CA7 instance and grants permission to the user.  Example if the CA7 instance is named CA123 then there must be a resource under the as-job policy that the user is a member of that is setup as CA123.*

 

Please note that the “Treat resource names as regular expressions” box must be checked for this to work.
