TPX - Session Management Vman Session Management for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Plan on activating RACF encryption algorithm KDFAES on our system.
Are there any fixes or concerns in TPX using this algorithm?

Environment

TPX 5.4
Z/OS 2.3 (RACF)

Resolution

The older single 56-bit Data Encryption Standard (DES) or the Key Derivation Function Advanced Encryption Standard (KDFAES) encryption of RACF passwords (commonly referred to as AES - that has two flavours, AES128 and AES256) is encryption that is manged internally by RACF.

TPX RACROUTE calls are not involved in the encrypt or decrypt of the passwords. Its managed by RACF. No changes required in TPX.
