Issue/Introduction

Our MQ sysprogs are wanting to find out if Sysview has a way to prevent certain displays from being periodically reset.
In particular, the Depth field on the MQQOERF screen appears to be resetting after a certain amount of time.
Where/how would this be controlled, and is there a way to either increase that interval, or set it so that the Depth high water mark is reset on demand only?

Environment

Release:
Component: SYSVW

Resolution

There is NOTHING that resets the queue depth.
Queue depth indicates how many messages are on the queue...so it has to represent what is there and cannot be reset by anyone.
There are other statistics that MQ keeps like message in and out counts and a high water depth mark that can be reset using the RESET QSTATS MQSC command.
So, neither SYSVIEW nor MQ has the ability to reset the queue depth on an interval.
