Alert Status was not showing in Introscope 10.5.x, It start to be showing in 10.7.0.
What worked in 10.5 was exploitation of a certain behavior in the system and the fact it did what was desired was coincidental. ATC never shown alarm state in the ATC UI. The alarm information was always processed and derived into statuses of components. That is why you can have one alert with all Average Response Time metrics included and only affected components light up red in ATC or experience view. You can try mapping the calculated metric to one specific experience node. Then any alert built on top of that metric will become the status of that node and the node and the corresponding experience card will light up red. This is again an exploitation of a certain product mechanics, not a feature.
