Issue/Introduction

How do I start the Mainframe Team Center Automation MTC-A product?   Does it require a started task to run?  

How do I start the Mainframe Team Center Automation product?  I can't find an example started task for MTC-A anywhere in the OPS doc or the Team Center Automation doc. every other task has example JCL,

Resolution

Mainframe Team Center Automation does not have its own started task, but instead runs as part of TOMCAT.   If you have TOMCAT running, and have completed the stesps from the Configuring manual, you should be able to go to the step of "Logon to Mainfram Team Center" in the Using manual to start MTC-A on your workstation.
