TPX - Session Management Vman Session Management for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

E-mail from cust--Support translated:

There is an error when product EOS is called from TPX.

EOS is defined for 100 users.

Once user 101 logs on EOS calls another EOS and at this point TPX hangs
and a terminal disconnect is mandatory.

The following is from cust EOS Support:

Our EOS environment makes use of 4 EVTs (1 main and 3 secondaries).

Each EVT allows simultaneous access to 100 users. Once user 101 tries
to open an EOS session it locks up because TPX is not able to pass
control to the second EVT since this is an internal EOS
product functionality made able via profile.

Environment

OS: z/OS.

Resolution

Cust explained that testing was successful (after recycling TPX)  using (on
the EOS ACT entry) TYPE=GRP or TYPE=UNQ  plus  CLSDST  PASS=Y
and Substring=EOS.    (Solution was moved into Production on 12.04.19--
dd.mm.yy.)
