EEM deployment failed during SM 17.2 installation

Embedded Entitlements Manager (EEM) deployment failed due to addition of System Environment Variable on the server i.e.
Parameter: _JAVA_OPTIONS
Value: -Xms128M -Xmx256M

Parameter: _JAVA_OPTIONS
Value: -Xms128M -Xmx256M


Service Management 17.2


Follow below steps to fix the issue

1. Delete the System Environment Variable for "Java Options"
2. Hit on retry and complete the installation
   - Installation should run successfully without any issues.

Additional Information

Note: For Specific scenarios if you encounter below error messages during the installation, a Java Options system variable is required to start the common installer.
Java options is required as the install machine has some disk fragmentation issue. Hence it is not able to allocate heap memory and throws below error.
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
