CEM's J01000SP and J02220DB JCL's allocation of space

Issue/Introduction

CEM's J01000SP job that allocates the Linear VSAM ZFS dataset specifies to large of a primary for this platform's limited DASD.
And, the CXXINIT job (J02220DB) to re-initialize the Datacom MUF is failing due to insufficient space allocating the SORTWK01 file.

Cause

The cause of the SORTWK01 insufficient space failure was due to the SMS volume not having enough space for the SORTWK files.
 

Resolution

Due to the LPAR's DASD limitation, the customer defined the ZFS file within the J01000SP JCL with a primary of 150 CYLS. 
This proved sufficient for their needs.  To resolve the CXXINIT SORTWK01 space allocation as specified in the J02220DB job,
the JCL was modified to hard code an explicit VOL=SER and specify 500,500 CYLS.
