Impact of disabling TLS 1.0 and upgrading to TLS 1.2 and/or TLS 1.1

Issue/Introduction

Can you confirm if disabling TLS 1.0 and upgrading to TLS 1.2 and/or TLS 1.1 will have no impact on CA Data Protection services and server interaction.

Resolution

If the DP environment is setup in non-FIPS mode, we do not rely on TLS. If it is deployed in Advanced or FIPS mode, we rely on a third party encryption library that complies with the latest TLS versions 1.1 & 1.2 Since Citi is using non-FIPS mode, disabling TLS 1.0 should not impact DP. Please do test this scenario in a QA environment before disabling.
