Patch API Error: Required patch status field not found: ID

Issue/Introduction

During installing a patch the /opt directory was filled and installing the patch let to error:

Please wait while the patch is installed ...
Patch API Error: Required patch status field not found: ID

After having released space in /opt the patch was no longer in the list, and upload also ended in :

Required patch status field not found: ID

How can this be fixed?

All supported versions of the API Gateway

Resolution

If you run into that error on retry, please use the following steps to correct the issue:
1. Delete the following three file.

/opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/patches/<patchname>.status
/opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/patches/<patchname>.LCK
/opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/patches/<patchname>.L7P

2. Upload and install the patch file again
