Enterprise Dashboard crashes with high queue values

After running for about a week, the Enterprise Dashboard crashes with an OutOfMemoryError. Also the enterprisedashboard.log shows messages similar to these: DEBUG com.ca.dradis.BeanProcessor - receiveObject: New object added to internal receiver queue. queue size=xxxxx
With a high queue size of 10000 or more. There are more than 50 active registries reporting to the Enterprise Dashboard.
The Enterprise Dashboard is not able to process all the updates from the high number of active registries. This is causing the queue size to increase over time.
