Issue/Introduction

I created a custom QoS Metric for log monitoring and I'm attempting to select it from the drop-down under Log Monitoring -> {Profile Name} -> Watcher Rules -> {Watcher Name} -> Variables -> {Variable Name} -> QoS Metric Name. The drop-down is empty.
The QoS Definition was added to the group using MCS (Setup logmon -> Setup logmon -> QoS Definition -> {Definition Name}).
The problem is that the drop-down does not populate to select this new definition into other groups in USM.

Environment

UIM - 8.51 SP1
hub - 7.97
robot - 7.97HF3
UMP - 8.51 SP1
MCS - 8.58HF14
logmon - 4.10
logmon_mcs_templates - 4.01

Resolution

To resolve this, add the definition needs to be added to the new group:

In the new group, go to Monitoring->Setup logmon -> Setup logmon -> QoS Definition -> {Definition Name}).

After the definition has been added to the new group, go to Log Monitoring -> {Profile Name} -> Watcher Rules -> {Watcher Name} -> Variables -> {Variable Name} -> QoS Metric Name.  The new metric name should be listed.
