N00301 INVALID OPERAND IN JCL PARM: SEC=PARTSAF

Issue/Introduction

Our customer was starting up his NetMaster for SNA region on 12.2 (from 12.1) and the following error occurred:

N00301 INVALID OPERAND IN JCL PARM: SEC=PARTSAF

Environment

OS:  z/OS.

Cause

Resolution

Given that SEC=PARTSAF utilizes our distributed code (security exit) that is good news in that they won't have a custom security

 

exit.  Therefore SEC=NMSAF will work for them.
