Dynamically Remove Facility In Top Secret

Issue/Introduction

When trying to debug a product by changing everything back to its pre-customized state, is there a way to dynamically remove/delete the Top Secret FACILITY associated with that product, or would you need to remove it and IPL?

Resolution

The TSS MODIFY FAC(XXX=NAME=USERxx) would only rename facility back to the default user defined name (USERnn). All the ACIDS that had the current facility name FAC(xxx) would now show USER25 instead.

You will also need to change the INITPGM back to *** by issuing:

TSS MODIFY FAC(USER25=PGM=***)
