Unable to add fields to model in 2E

Issue/Introduction

Users cannot add any fields within the 2E model and get the following error:

MCH0601 

Severity: 40 

Message:  Space offset x'00D677C0' or x'000000000000' is outside current limit for object &1.

 

Environment

CA 2E 8.7+

Cause

This error indicates a user space corruption.

Resolution

Based on the MCH0601 error provided, it is likely that the model's Object Table User Space needs to be rebuilt.

To rebuild the user space perform the following: 

1. Ensure no one is using the model 

2. YDLTOBJTBL 

3. YEDTDTAARA YSNCMDLRFA, change value to N 

4. YSNCMDL 5. Edit the model and see if you can Z into the files function/access path now.
