Issue/Introduction
Using CA Gen Web Service Wizard the generated wsdl file with xml schema shows an xsd data type of integer for a date attribute/field i.e. : <restriction base="xsd:integer"> Is it possible to reconfigure the generation so that an xsd data type of date is used i.e. "xsd:date"?
Environment
CA Gen 8.5, 8.6 Web Service Wizard
Resolution
It is not possible for the end user to reconfigure the generation so that xsd:date is used instead of xsd:integer for a date attribute. The Web Service Wizard is based on the XML Java Proxy and it would require a design change to the Java Proxy Generator to achieve that.
