Issue/Introduction

This article provides the definitions for User Action status codes used within the Identity Governancet. These codes are frequently encountered when querying the Identity Governance database for audit or reporting purposes.

Environment

Identity Governance 14.5

Cause

Beginning with Identity Governance version 14.2, the user action status mapping was expanded to accommodate "Approved but not submitted" states and automatic archival, leading to the introduction of status code 4.

Resolution

The following status codes define the lifecycle of a user action in SGRM:

  1. NEW (1): The user action is in progress and outstanding; it has not yet been submitted.
  2. PENDING (2): The action is in a pending zone; it has been saved by the user but is waiting for final submission.
  3. SUBMITTED (3): The user has successfully submitted a result for the action.
  4. ARCHIVED (4): The task was completed automatically by the system (e.g., due to a campaign timeout or system-level archival).
