IDEAL IDUTILTY RC8 on VERIFY of IDDAT

Issue/Introduction

After upgrade from Ideal version 14.0 to 15.1,  batch IDUTILTY utility with VERIFY LIBRARY IDDAT receives return code RC 08 while the same job when run previously under Ideal Version 14.0 received RC 0.

Cause

Enhancement in Ideal version 15.x

Resolution

Comparison of the IDUTILTY job outputs shows that both versions 14.0 and 15.1 have the same messages including several error messages:

Listed USER not present on Data Dictionary 
             
Member belongs to USER not on Data Dictionary 

Ideal Version 15.x has enhanced the IDUTILTY utility to issue the RC 08 in order to flag when an error message is encountered.

Additional Information

Those error messages can be addressed by 'cleaning' up the mismatch of members versus user in Data Dictionary.
