MSM acquire Datacom/AD 15.0 Maintenance

Issue/Introduction



Attempting to perform a "Get Latest Maintenance" for CA DATACOM 15.0 receive the following: 

An exception has occurred while executing the command. 
Error encountered while accessing the following URL: 
https://supportservices.ca.com/support/licproducts/DATABB00200/releases?site=999999

Where 999999 = Your site id.

Resolution

If you do not have a separate product entitlement license for Datacom/AD then you need to acquire the maintenance for it though the product that your site is licensed for. 

For Example, CA Common Services 15.0 is packaged with Datacom/AD 15.0.  

To acquire maintenance for Datacom/AD 15.0 you need to perform a "Get Latest Maintenance" for CA Common Services 15.0.  This will download all of the maintenance for CA Common Services 15.0  and for all of the common components that it is packaged with, such as Datacom/AD 15.0.

To apply maintenance to your Datacom/AD 15.0:

1.  Go to the SMP/E Tab
2.  Select a CSI where Datacom/AD 15.0 is installed.
3.  Click MAINTENANCE and then click "Show All" pages
4.  Put a check in the Filter Box and select Function: CAAXF00
Note: CAAXF00 is the FMID for Datacom/AD 15.0
5. All the PTFs that are applicable to Datacom/AD 15.0 are displayed and you can check off the PTFs you want to RECEIVE/APPLY.
