Using CSM, the installation of the r20 DB2 Tools fails on the mount of the ZFS file system step

Issue/Introduction

Using CSM, the installation of the r20 DB2 Tools fails on the step to mount the CDBAZFS file system. The mount point being used is the default /cai/dbmgmt one.

Cause

The cause of the mount failure was due to the same mount point being used for this installation's CDBAZFS file system (/cai/dbmgmt) as the one just previously done on the same LPAR.

Resolution

The customer will modify the USS mount point for this new installation to differentiate it from the last one. The new r20 CDBAZFS file system will add the DB2 subsystem ID to the mount point as such /cai/dbmgmt/adgo
