Issue/Introduction

We are not able to start the Enterprise Dashboard after the IP address of the server was modified.
When executing the standalone process we see the following exception:
./EnterpriseDashboard
Locale: en_US
Setting System.out and System.err to: UTF-8
DRADIS_HOME set to: /opt/DevTest/
Temporary directory is: /opt/DevTest/lisatmp_dir
Logging to: /opt/DevTest/lisatmp_dir/enterprisedashboard.log
Configuring logging from: /opt/DevTest/logging.properties
java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method startsWith() on null object
at org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.NullObject.invokeMethod(NullObject.java:91)

In the enterprisedashboard.log file we see the following error:
ERROR com.ca.dradis.InternalDatabase - Unable to start internal database after 3 attempts, giving up

Environment

All supported DevTest releases.

Resolution

Edit the /etc/hosts file, on Linux, or C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts, on Windows, of your DevTest server and add the new IP address and host name of your server.
Restart the DevTest services.
