After customizing, the Event Config Editor is not displaying the Severity of alarms associated with events

Issue/Introduction

After customizing the table-ec-navigation-config.xml file in the $SPECROOT/custom/ec/config directory to add the Alarm Severity attribute, the Event Config Editor shows the Severity column as expected but does not displaying the Severity of alarm associated with event.

Environment

Any version of DX NetOps Spectrum running on any supported operating system.

Cause

Adding the Severity can not be achieved by modifying the table-ec-navigation-config.xml file. For the existing columns/tabs, we have the java implementation to retrieve the values of the event row that is selected. Since, we don't have the implementation to support for the Severity tab, it is not listed in the Table Preferences of EC Configuration and is not supported.

Resolution

This is functioning as designed.
