Why Notify Alert process failed to trigger

Issue/Introduction

An Alert process defined on a NOTIFY statement did not trigger when a job abended or failed.

Environment

Release: All
Component: ESP Workload Automation

Resolution

The reason the alert did not trigger is because the ALERT is no longer defined to ESP.   Define the ALERT to ESP using the ALERTDEF command.

Example: 
OPER ALERTDEF ADD ID(xxxx)
