Can you restore/refresh one environment to another if the Clarity PPM environments are on different versions?

Clarity PPM On Premise
We would like to have production data restored into the lower environments of Clarity PPM for testing purposes since we are upgrading the application to version a later version. Our lower environment (Example: Development) is currently on Clarity PPM 15.4.1 and our production environment is on 15.2. Can we still do the restore of prod data or will that revert the upgrade?

For On Premise customers: While unfortunately refreshing one environment to another if they are on different versions isn't possible, the one option would be to do a new install in the test environment at the version the source environment is on (in the above example, 15.2), then restore the source DB there, then proceed to upgrade the environment to the newer version (15.4.1 in the above example).
