Can you restore/refresh one Clarity environment to another if they are on different versions?

Issue/Introduction

We would like to have Production data restored into the lower environments of Clarity for testing purposes. Our lower environment (e.g.: Development) is currently on Clarity 16.2.3, and our Production environment is on Clarity 16.2.2. Can we still do the restore of Production data?

Any Clarity release.

Resolution

It is not possible to refresh data from one environment to another if they are not in the same versions (for both release and patch level). Version/Build numbers in the About section must match.
