Exception importing RR pairs to Virtual Service from TDM

Issue/Introduction

Failing when importing the RR pairs to a Virtual Service from TDM.
 

Cause

Corrupted vr2 file.

Environment

Release:
Component: ITKOVS

Resolution

1. Renamed the \17320_CATDM_AgentComplianceCheck_ComplianceDto - Copy\Bank v5\VirtualServices\VRScenarios\17320_CATDM_AgentComplianceCheck_ComplianceDto.vr2 file to Not_17320_CATDM_AgentComplianceCheck_ComplianceDto.vr2 from the DevTest Workstation.

2. Deleted the running service from the VSE.

3. Redeployed the service to the VSE.

4. Exported from TDM with no issues to SV.

How to check if the VS has been updated with synthetic data from TDM:

The procedure is to check the lads folder as shown below.

C:\Program Files\CA\DevTest\lisatmp_10.4.0\lads\240EFF04C9C11E9B034E89EB42804A2

The updated VSI file shall be found at <PROJECT NAME>\VirtualServices\Images folder

Just make sure you see the Modified Date of the folder in lads.
 

Additional Information

Verified that the TDM data export to VS does work also if VS is created from Workstation.

Could verify after creating a fresh VS from workstation and then sync it by exporting 1200+ RR pairs from TDM to SV successfully.

We concur that this problem may be specific to your system, but if this happens again to open a new support case.

It is SAFE to conclude that the VS can be created from PORTAL as well as WORKSTATION for the integration to function seamlessly.
