Issue/Introduction



After setting  up the Name Equates table(BC1TNEQU) for package actions and ensured that the rules have been created in our security product, a test was run with the ESI trace(EN$TRESI) and no package action rules are called. What can be the reason?

Resolution

Check that the field PKGSEC=ESI in the C1DEFLTS table. If  PKGSEC is set to APPROVER or MIGRATE no package action ESI calls will be done.
