With Automation Point release 11.6 some changes were done to CCI-distributed (or now called CCI-AP). The development and maintenance is now under control of the Automation Point(AP) team and can be customized to the needs of AP. Some changes are already done in the Dos command line interface. The CCICNTRL command has been removed because there is only one service left, instead of the 4 in previous releases. The RMTCNTRL commands still exists, the same as the CCII command.
Because of these changes at CCI-AP it's also needed to run these commands in a DOS command window as ADMINISTRATOR.
Failing to open the DOS command window as administrator will not give you the required information.
At the RMTCNTRL command there will be the error message
C:\Users\userid>rmtcntrl status
Error sending command to bridge RC=5
With the CCI command you only get the local connection displayed and not the remote one.
Because of the removal of the CCICNTRL command, it can still be entered, but it will give the error message :
C:\Users\userid>ccicntrl status
Message Table Error for Msg 7223 GetLastError 1060Message Table Error for Msg 7223 GetLastError 1060Message Table Error
