When does the Session Recording Purge Policy Job Run

Issue/Introduction

PAM Admin has noticed their storage space on their remote CIFS/NFS share is very large.
When investigating they noticed that they have many days of PAM Session Recordings.

They Implemented a Purge Policy in:
PAM UI >> Configuration >> Session Recording >> Purge Policy 

However they don't see any session recordings deleted.

When does the PAM Session Recording Purge Policy run?

Resolution

When set - the job will run at:

• Midnight (UTC) and delete any logs that are older than the days set.

Unless they meet the other options: 

• Exclude Recordings with Violations 
• or 
• Exclude Suspicious Recordings. 

In the session logs, there will be an entry such as :: PAM-CMN-1984: Session recording purging successfully completed. XXX recordings was/were removed. Took XXX seconds
