Issue/Introduction

Notifier is not working at all. Seems to be after a system reload. Notifier.out file is showing:
AlarmNotifier: Warning: 13:17:35 01/22/19 - Landscape 0x100000: unknown landscape.
AlarmNotifier: 13:17:35 01/22/19 - The VNM Landscape Map contains no landscapes.
A possible reason is that you do not have user and/or host access.

the SpectroSERVER OS should be started as the Spectrum install owner or we will have issues to run background apps that run automatically.

Environment

Release:
Component: SPCAEM

Resolution

the SpectroSERVER OS should be started as the Spectrum install owner or we will have issues to run background apps that run automatically.
This is a documented requirement.
The install owner was verified in the .vnmrc as initial_user_model_name=xxxxx
We changed the local OS password of the initial_user_model_name as it was unknown.
We changed it to match the password of the initial_user_model_name OC user.
We logged out of the SS and back in as the correct user restarted the SS successfully.
Then did the same on the OC server and saw everything connected okay in the connection status console and saw new alarms updating in OC.
