How to filter out robot and probe alarms so they do not go to Spectrum?

Issue/Introduction

Customers find it useful to control which alarms are being sent to Spectrum from UIM.

Environment

- UIM 8.5.1
- spectrumgtw v8.66
- Spectrum 10.3.0.0.341

Please refer to 'Filter CA UIM alarms.' Then review at 'Synchronize Specific Alarms' based on attributes. You can use the the Message text or any other attribute(s). 

In this case you can use 'DoesNotStartWith' and the value.

Follow these steps:

Login to the Admin Console.

Select:
uim_alarm_filters

AND/OR
Required: all

Enable Filtering:
Active (must be selected)

Filters:
Add a Filter Name (two of them)
Attribute: message
Operator: DoesNotStartWith
Value: Probe
and for the 2nd Filter,
Value: Robot
Enable Filter: True (for both)
