Is zPM license key hardware dependent?

Issue/Introduction

A valid license key is required for zPrice Manager (zPM).  

Is the zPM license key generated based on hardware info, like CPU Model and/or CPU ID or is it hardware independent?

Environment

zPrice Manager on z/OS

Resolution

zPM key does not check any hardware information, means it's hardware independent. The keys are only compared against current date and time.
