Issue/Introduction

In order to troubleshoot problems Broadcom support needs to obtain the PAM Server Control log files with the debug traces enabled.



How can I enable the debug traces for PAM Server Control?

Environment

PAM Server Control 14

Resolution

In order to enable the debug traces for PAM Server Control, please perform the following steps:
  • Stop AC
  • In seos.ini set: 
    debug_level=low
    trace_to=file
  • Start AC

To collect the documentation perform the following steps:
  • Start trace by running: secons -tc -t+
  • Recreate the problem.
  • Stop trace by running: secons -t-
  • Collect all the files in the $SEOSDIR\log folder.
  • Compress them and upload them to the support case you be working with support.
