What can be done to find out the source of high Memory and/or CPU Utilization spike on a Window OS?



One or more of the following could be causing the spike.
-Misconfiguration of the JVM settings for one or more Clarity services
-Recently installed software


Component: PPMENV


Check the Task Manager for the process(es) that are consuming the most CPU. 
Is it the Clarity services that are consuming the most CPU?
If not, what process is consuming the most CPU? 

After finding out what process/service/pid is causing the spike, proceed to kill it and check if the CPU levels get back to normal levels.
