Issue/Introduction

On Service Desk/CMDB web interface login page, there is a link "Guest Login, click here" that allow non Service Desk users to open tickets as anonymous user login. This is a valuable feature for the application. However, what if you don't want anyone use this feature to open tickets as you
would like to make sure every ticket opened has a valid end user? This tech doc gives an easy way to remove this link from login page.

Resolution

De-install the guest_user_name option (Administration-->Options Manager-->Security) and then recycle Service Desk/CMDB.
