Can CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.4.3 run on Windows 2016 and MS SQL 2016 or 2017?
Environment
CA Business Intelligence JasperReports Server 6.4.3.
Windows 2016 and MS SQL 2016 or 2017.
Windows 2016 and MS SQL 2016 or 2017.
Resolution
As of 22nd March 2019, these platforms are currently not certified by CA.
Please note that older versions of Windows, such as Windows 2012, have recently received additional support extension periods from Microsoft.
As of 10th April 2019, the news is that support for Jasper Server 2017.1.1 with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 will be certified in future CA Service Desk Manager 17.1 and 17.2 rollups/releases; it is not supported for the current 17.1.0.2 (rollup #2) and 17.2 GA (no rollup) releases.
An announcement will be made in the usual certification locations once certification has been completed.
