Can Device OS information be included in Billing report

Issue/Introduction

No Device OS information is included in the billing report generated by usage_metering 9.2x

Environment

Any version after usage_metering 9.0
 

Resolution

No, Billing report generated by the usage_metering probe (after version 9.0) or billing probe does not include OS information in the report.

However, Export Inventory/Export Group is available from USM via Actions Menu:

Navigate in USM

The exported inventory will including OS information.

Equivalently create the statement to query below tables:

- CM_COMPUTER_SYSTEM 
- CM_COMPUTER_SYSTEM_ATTR 
- CM_DEVICE 
- CM_DEVICE_ATTRIBUTE 

to generate a custom report.
