Issue/Introduction

Cannot access the Web Viewer Application. The message: Errors: Database connection can not be established. Contact your System Administrator is displayed on the login screen. configtool.bat utility on the server is not able to access either. The following message is displayed. E:\Program Files (x86)\CA\CA_OM_Web_Viewer\util>java -jar ConfigTool.jar 2>>.\logs\ConfigTool.log Access is denied. SQL DB is up and running properly. UAT and Prod environments are working fine.

Resolution

After backing out changes and patches, the system recovered. We can access WebViewer, access the configtool.bat, and also remote desktop to the server again.
