SiteMinder Webagent : IBM HTTP Server not being detected while webagent configuration.

Issue/Introduction

SiteMinder web agent configuration wizard doesn't recognize the IBM HTTP Server while  running the configuration, it doesn't detect the IHS this is same problem with a server that is running IBM HTTP Server 9.0 as well.

Environment

Product Name=CA SiteMinder Web Agent 
FullVersion=12.52.x
SiteMinder(r) Webagent :  12.52 SP01 

IBM HTTP Server : 8.5x and 9.0.x
OS Platform : Windows 2016 and 2019

Resolution

-> Add the below registry as below highlighted registry path.

 

 

-> Run the webagent configuration wizard to read the IHS webwebserver for configuration of webagent.
